How to Apply

Applications for Sierra Grants are only available through the Sierra Grant Online Application Portal.

The online portal works optimally in Google Chrome.

Step 1 – Complete the Sierra Grant Application.

Please provide the required application items listed below through our online portal.

Sierra Grant Online Application Portal

  • Organization:
    • Mission Statement
    • Description
    • Applicant contact information: name, phone number, and email address
  • Details:
    • Donation title
    • Date needed (Note: Please allow a minimum of 90 days from the date of the application and date needed)
    • Description
    • Amount
    • Location: physical location where the funds will be utilized (not necessarily the organization’s mailing address)
  • Impact:
    • Number of people benefitting (if known)
    • Percentage of beneficiaries who are low-to-moderate-income individuals (if applicable)
  • Tax Exempt Status Letter: Copy of your organization’s IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status letter.
  • W-9 Form: Signed and dated Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification.
  • List of your organization’s Board of Directors, including names, titles, and affiliations

Step 2 – Submit Your Application

Make a copy for your records and submit all materials through the Sierra Grant Online Application Portal. Our team will review your application and may contact you by email to ask questions or request additional information.
